National Tatar Postcards From Russia

The House of People's Friendship published a series of Tatar national costume postcards after A.E. Kulakovsky in 1909. The cards show vivid images of traditional costumes. The designs are made to be viewed from all angles. The pictures include details about each piece of clothing, including details on their shapes and cuts. This series of Tatar cards was a great success and became a popular souvenir.

The postcards were printed after the Crimean Tatars were forced to flee their homes because of the Greek occupation of the region. This war left the region devastated and the Tatar population of Derekoy and Ai-Vasyl fled to the mountains. The Greeks looted Tatar houses, but the locals survived. They continued to live and work there for the next seven decades, until they finally disappeared from the scene. национальные татарские открытки

The Crimean Tatars fought the Greeks in a fierce battle with the Greeks. They were outnumbered by 20,000 and the British allied forces pushed them into the mountains. As a result, they were driven from their villages, including the city of Bakhchisaray. In the following years, their homes were looted by the Greeks, but they were able to escape the conflict.

The Tatar cemetery is located on the southern part of the Crimean peninsula. The Crimean Tatars were unable to resist the Greeks' artillery shelling and were pushed out of their homes. Their bodies were disinterred and the Tatars displaced to the mountains. The Germans, meanwhile, took advantage of the situation and began to re-elect their councils. Despite their defeat, the Crimean Tatars were able to rebuild the city's old structure.

The Crimean Tatars fought back. They tried to break the Greeks' attack, but their efforts were unsuccessful. In December 1917, the Bolsheviks killed Vol. Karaeva and A. Yelagin, two of the Crimean Tatar leaders. In the city of Sevastopol, the Revolutionary Committee of the Tatars, comprised of 18 Bolsheviks and two Left Socialist Revolutionaries, announced a new council.

The Crimean Tatars had no place in the city. However, they had been able to establish communities in the Crimean peninsula. The region has become a popular tourist destination. The national monument is situated on the island of Granberg. The statue depicts the city in a landscape. The statue of the great Khan is situated on top of a hill. The village is famous for its tatra.

A collection of 150 Postcards by Mela Koehler, a young artist from the Chicago area, is a beautiful and affordable way to share the culture of the region. The images in this collection are incredibly varied and the range of postcards is large. Many of the cards are colorful, while others are simply ephemera. In any case, you'll be able to find a variety of stamps that represent the diversity of Lake County.
